I came to Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in January of 2011 in need of specialized personal care as I struggled with some extremely challenging health conditions. By February 2011, I had a made a dramatic turnaround as each day I showed progress moving around in my wheelchair and not long after, with the help of my physical therapist, mastering the use of a walker. Soon, with the 24 hour professional nursing care and impressive therapy I received, the walker was gone and I was walking normally, volunteering to help with other patients and feeling better than I’d felt in years.

Everyone at this facility is a true professional, from the Business Office Staff, who expertly assist patients and their families with the myriad of details of state and federal programs, to the Social Services team, to the highly trained medical staff, to the laundry employees (they can actually find that missing sock!), to the dietary staff (I especially recommend the superb baked chicken, spaghetti with meat sauce that would rival that of any good Italian restaurant, and the home-cooked vegetables), to the licensed physical therapists.
